Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading independent firm of accountants in Swindon who are looking for a strong Accounts and Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing team.
They are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts and Audit Senior Manager to lead and manage a portfolio of clients with a particular emphasis on charities, not-for-profits, and SMEs.
The work will involve management of the portfolio of audit clients with a view to becoming an employee RI with a portfolio of clients, and progression to full Directorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients, with a primary focus on NFP/charity and SME clients.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits in line with relevant standards.
Review statutory accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, SORP (Charities), and other regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, developing strong, long-lasting relationships.
Monitor workflow, budgets, and resource allocation across engagements.
