We actively encourage applications from all backgrounds. About the Role As an Integrated Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through their treatment and recovery journey. Working across both the Therapeutic and Clinical Teams, you will help deliver effective treatment programmes and provide direct client support. This is a varied role that involves: Delivering one-to-one support to clients. Facilitating structured low-level psychoeducational sessions in group settings. Supporting treatment teams to deliver daily programmes effectively. Maintaining accurate records and working across multiple computer systems. Ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive environment for clients. Being actively involved in security, health & safety, and risk management. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis. Overtime may be required to cover staff absence and is paid at the same rate, with enhancements in line with policy. What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Qualities Strong observational, reporting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and use initiative. Good listening skills and empathy, with the ability to engage positively with clients and professionals. Strong IT skills across multiple systems and applications. Ability to manage professional boundaries, resolve conflict, and work with challenging behaviours. Open to feedback and able to give feedback constructively. Strong team player who can work harmoniously across multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to self-care and accessing support when needed. Flexibility to switch dynamically between varied tasks and responsibilities. Desirable (training will be provided if not held): Experience facilitating groups. Experience working in a clinical or residential setting (hospital, care home, treatment centre). Knowledge of the challenges faced by people with addictions and their impacts. Understanding of the 12 Step process of recovery (applicants in recovery should have a minimum of three years abstinence). Experience within substance misuse services or addiction support. Important Requirements Willingness to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays as part of a rolling rota. Flexibility to take occasional overtime to cover sickness or annual leave. Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and needles. Willingness to train in acupuncture, phlebotomy, and venepuncture as required by service needs.
