Your new role
This practice are seeking an Experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their County Derry / Londonderry studio to help shape projects from concept through topletion. You'll have scope to lead work-streams through all RIBA stages, coordinating design, consultants and approval. You'll produce high-quality design packages and BIM models, leveraging digital workflows to drive efficiency and quality. It's expected you will manage client relationships and present design options clearly and confidently throughout the project lifecycle, responding to challenges and troubleshooting smoothly and effectively. Overseeing technical delivery, you'll navigate planning submissions, building control documentation and tender packs. Contributing to, and advancing, overall studio standards, you'll also mentor junior colleagues and platform best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a Chartered Architect or Architectural Technologist, with 5 years+ experience of working within a practice environment. Whilst project experience is non-specific, you should have proven Revit experience due to the nature of this practice's workload and systems, and have solid knowledge across UK/NI/RoI regulations and approval processes. You should be an excellentmunicator, with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. This role requires a proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently but also as part of a wider team where required.
NEC3 / NEC4 experience or qualifications would be desirable, but are not essential, as to would be experience working within the RoI space (ie familiarity with BCAR).
