We are seeking and experienced Credit Manager to join our team in Huyton.
Duties
* Develop and manage the credit control department including policy creation and implementation
* Liaise, manage and negotiate with the company's credit insurance provider and solicitors
* Complete credit risk assessments and approvals
* Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on unpaid invoices, working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
* Prepare detailed reports on credit activity, bad debts and risk exposure
* Work closely with the sales and finance teams to align credit practices and business goals
Experience
* Proven experience in a credit management or similar role within financial services or related industries.
* Previous experience in the construction setting
* Strong understanding of legal and court legislation and processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Excel
* Proactive, organised, and detailed oriented
