Job Title: Security Officer
Location: London, EC2R 6DN
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 60 hours per week – 12‑hour shifts. Weekend days 7:00 am – 7:00 pm and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights 7:00 pm – 7:00 am.

Responsibilities
* Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site, monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
* Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
* Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
* Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
* Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
* Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
* Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
Qualifications
* Valid SIA licence
* Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
* Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history
* Ability to work every weekend
* Reliable and trustworthy
* Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken
