JOB DESCRIPTION:
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Engineer to lead the technical sales efforts for several GSI’s/Outsourcers in Europe and India. Additional responsibilities encompass executive engagements, partner led sales efforts, pipeline development along with business planning. International travel will be required.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Engage in all GSI activities within Europe with selected GSI’s.
2. Working closely with Sales driving Commvault revenue with Global Systems Integrators, including outsourcing, managed services, resell and influencer of Commvault’s products and services.
3. Establish or refine current programs and contracts that provide the GSI the ability to buy and resell Commvault products and services.
4. Work with targeted GSI’s to understand current offerings and position Commvault enabling GSIs to include Commvault solutions in go to market capabilities.
5. Represent Commvault at GSI executive and technical events.
6. Work all facets of the Commvault and GSI relationship (corporate executive, solution architects, delivery
7. Work with solution architects, delivery managers, and sales teams to identify and qualify new opportunities.
8. Serve as the primary technical point of contact between GSI and Commvault for opportunities within Europe and India
9. Work as part of Commvault Global SI team to help grow our relationships and revenue with each targeted GSI.
10. Help identify opportunities within each GSI to embed our solution into the services solutions they sell to their clients.
11. Work closely with Commvault sales teams and sales leadership in Europe and India to develop pipeline and rapidly grow this business
Position Requirements:
12. Demonstrable experience in technical sales engineering role supporting large global SIs
13. Proven knowledge and experience within Software / SaaS industry in a similar capacity. Ideally within Data Management / Security and Cyber Resiliency
14. Wide range of technical knowledge of data management inclusive of applications, cloud, compliance, disaster recovery, tape infrastructure, storage arrays, storage networking, networking protocols, and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise environments
15. A dynamic, fast paced individual who is motivated by success and takes the responsibility of owning issues to resolution. Understands the true meaning of “ownership” and “will do”
16. Exceptional internal and client centric interpersonal skills in a commercial situation
17. Shown success in taking care of Enterprise clients and working on high level deals
18. Competence with prioritising work and balancing workloads
