The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide tailored support to students with a range of additional needs, which may include autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, or learning difficulties.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
* Supporting students to access the curriculum and remain engaged in lessons
* Assisting with behaviour support and emotional regulation
* Working alongside teachers to adapt learning materials and activities
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive social interaction
* Supporting EHCP targets and contributing to progress monitoring
* Building positive and trusting relationships with students

* Experienced in education or youth work (desirable but not essential)
