The Role
Female PE Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity for a Female PE Teacher to join a committed and forward-thinking department in Leeds. The successful candidate will take on a full-time, long-term teaching position, commencing as soon as possible. The role is focused on the planning, delivery, and assessment of high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level teaching. The individual will be instrumental in promoting a culture of health, participation, and competitive success among female students, running a diverse range of extra-curricular activities and contributing fully to the school community.

Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Knowledge of the current National Curriculum and examination specifications for PE.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)
Essential Skills
* Exceptional subject knowledge across diverse sporting disciplines
* Proven ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, from elite athletes to those requiring additional support.
* Excellent communication skills, effective with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
* Proficiency in using formative and summative assessment to inform planning and track student progress.
* The capacity to lead, organise, and manage successful extra-curricular sports teams and clubs.
* A high degree of organisation and effective time management.
Core Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons to female students across the key stages.
* Assess, monitor, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Contribute to the development, planning, and review of the PE curriculum and schemes of work.
* Organise, lead, and participate in a range of after-school and lunch-time extra-curricular activities and fixtures.
* Take responsibility for a teaching timetable and pastoral duties as required by the school.
* Maintain a safe, stimulating, and well-organised learning environment, including the proper use and storage of equipment.
* Liaise with parents/carers and external stakeholders regarding student performance and department activities.
* Attend departmental meetings, whole-school staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
* Actively uphold the school\'s policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and equal opportunities.
* Contribute positively to the overall ethos and corporate life of the school.
