We are looking for an experienced Cost Engineering & Analysis Manager to lead our cost engineering function and support the delivery of high-performance engineering programmes. This is a critical leadership role, partnering with engineering, finance and operations to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of innovation and performance. Working within a fast-paced motorsport environment, you will help drive financial insight, strategic cost management and value optimisation across engineering programmes. Key Responsibilities Leading and developing the Cost Engineering team, ensuring best practices and high performance. Working closely with Engineering, embedding cost strategy into technical decision making. Owning and evolving cost engineering processes, governance frameworks and cost-reduction roadmaps. Overseeing cost forecasting and financial analysis to support executive decision making. Leading value engineering and optimisation initiatives influencing design, sourcing and manufacturing strategies. Supporting new product development programmes from concept through to production to ensure cost targets are achieved. Driving cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing and Operations. Providing clear executive-level reporting, translating complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations. Managing cost-related risks and opportunities across engineering programmes. Shaping ERP and cost data systems improvements to enhance reporting and transparency. Tracking and challenging departments against cost targets and KPI performance. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proven cost engineering experience within Formula One, high-level motorsport, or similar high-performance engineering environments. Strong people leadership and team development experience. Deep knowledge of cost engineering tools, forecasting and financial analysis. Understanding of engineering processes, drawings and manufacturing methods. Advanced analytical and forecasting skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to translate complex technical information into clear financial insight. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills. Experience with ERP systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and executive leadership. Resilience and the ability to deliver results under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
