SERVICE MANAGER - MOBILE WELFARE UNITS National Role | £40-45k Company Vehicle Based out of Midlands or Hampshire About the Opportunity Join one of the UK's largest national providers of self-contained mobile welfare units as a Service Manager. This is a pivotal role driving customer service excellence across a growing depot network, with ambitious expansion plans and investment in modern fleet and facilities. The Role We're seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our engineering operations, ensuring exceptional customer service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality. You'll be responsible for developing and managing our engineering team, coordinating maintenance operations, and driving continuous improvement across all service functions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team across multiple depot locations • Manage reactive and scheduled maintenance programs to achieve 90% first-time fix • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain ISO 9001 quality standards • Drive customer service excellence with breakdown response targets under 12 hours • Implement training programs and succession planning for business growth • Conduct risk assessments and internal audits • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise operations What We're Looking For: • Minimum 5 years' experience in service or engineering roles • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (IOSH qualification desirable) • Knowledge of towable welfare units advantageous • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Proven leadership and team development capabilities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated with ability to work independently What We Offer: • Competitive salary £40-45k DOE • Company vehicle provided • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays • Company pension scheme • Health cash plan • Refer a friend scheme • Eye test reimbursement • Full-time role: 45 hours/week, Monday-Friday Ready to Drive Service Excellence?
