The Role: Operations Assistant
At Tavex, we are looking for a reliable, organised, and trustworthy individual with excellent attention to detail to join us as an Operations Assistant in our Central London office. In this role, you will provide operational, administrative, and customer support to ensure the company’s daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
As a fast-growing bullion and currency exchange company in the UK, we’re looking for a proactive team player who’s eager to get involved in different areas of the business. This position offers opportunities for growth within the business and the potential to take on greater responsibility over time.
Role Responsibilities
* Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring all documentation requirements are met.
* Assist with general client inquiries and issues on LiveChat, ensuring a positive impression.
* Take ownership of all online orders, ensuring they are prepared and packaged to a high standard.
* Assist with stock management systems to ensure accurate inventory records are filed at the end of each day.
* Assist the wider operations team when necessary.

* An organised planner with excellent administration skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
* You must be confident speaking and engaging with people on a day-to-day basis.
* Resilient and adaptable to working in a growth environment.
* A quick learner who is comfortable working autonomously when required.
* A team player with a willingness to help others.
* Ability to work under pressure and stay calm and flexible to cope with changing priorities.
* Good time-management and organisational skills.
* Able to follow processes with high attention to detail.
* It is not essential, but competence in maths is encouraged.
* Interest in precious metal markets, and wider financial/investment markets.
* It is not essential, but it is a bonus if you have previous customer service experience.
