About the role
Principle Roles and Responsibilities
1. Review and work in accordance with individual care plans for our ladies and gentlemen and provide personal care in line with them, enhancing their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
2. Interact with the friends and family of people living with us where appropriate, including attending review meetings. Meet and greet other visitors to the home and represent Rochcare professionally.
3. Show a desire and passion to help make a difference in the lives of others and work effectively as part of a team that respects every person as a unique individual, treating them with dignity.
4. Demonstrate an ability to build and maintain relationships with people whose understanding is impaired and their families through good communication skills.
5. Complete all necessary records and routines accurately and maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone in the home.
The ideal candidate should be ready to assist and look after the physical and personal needs of the older people living in our care home. We’re looking for someone naturally compassionate who can help us deliver exceptional care. This role requires a commitment to the wellbeing of each person, handling complex needs with sensitivity.
The post holder will need to show respect, understand privacy rights, and demonstrate high professional standards daily. A keen interest in learning and growing skills through training, peer mentoring, and performance reviews is also desirable.
Schedule: Part-time, Full-time, Permanent or Bank available.
Wage rate: £12.51 per hour (depending on qualifications)
