Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mintlaw for a Mechanic. The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), buses, light vans, mowerr and plant. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues, and implementing repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and operational. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment problems and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance performed. The position has compressed hours of 9.25 hours for 4 days giving a good work live balance.
Qualifications
* Experience in Equipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair
* Proficiency in handling Heavy Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance
* Strong Troubleshooting skills
* Relevant technical qualifications and certifications
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to vehicle maintenance
