We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher to join a vibrant academic community in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, helping them develop strong mathematical skills and a deep understanding of the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages logical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning.
* Assess and track student progress through both formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to engage with maths.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring that all learners can succeed.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the department to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Proven experience teaching maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Strong knowledge of GCSE and A-Level maths content and exam specifications.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students in mathematical discussions.
* A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential in maths.
