The Role
Lead and develop the Geography department across KS3-KS5
Design and deliver a rigorous, knowledge-rich Geography curriculum
Line-manage and support Geography teaching staff
Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to sustain outstanding outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Essential Criteria
PGCE Secondary Geography with QTS
Strong subject knowledge across both Physical and Human Geography
Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice
Leadership Profile
Either a current Head of Geography seeking a new challenge, or
An ambitious Geography teacher ready to step into their first Head of Department role within a high-performing school
