Grounds Maintenance Operative (with Career Progression)
Depot Location: Bristol BS35
Hours: Monday to Friday (Standard day shifts + excellent overtime)
Initial Pay Rate: GBP14.78 per hour
Contract: 3‑Month Probation with a clear path to a Permanent Position
Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance professional looking for a stable role with a company that genuinely rewards hard work?
One of the leading horticulture and grounds specialists is looking for dedicated operatives to join their expanding team. Operating out of a depot near Redwick, you will work on a diverse and prestigious portfolio of commercial sites, including schools, business parks, industrial estates, and housing developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out all aspects of general commercial grounds maintenance.
* Operating equipment safely, including pedestrian mowers, ride‑on mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters.
* Ensuring all sites are completed to the high standards expected by commercial clients.
* Working efficiently as part of a team to meet daily site schedules.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: solid experience and a strong working knowledge of the commercial grounds maintenance industry.
* Tickets: PA1/PA6 spraying certificates are strongly desired (but not essential).
* Attitude: reliable, hard‑working, and passionate about maintaining outdoor spaces.
