Science Creates is looking for a highly organised and scientifically-minded
Partnerships & Community Manager
to support our growing community of Deep Tech entrepreneurs and manage key partner relationships.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in science (MSc / PhD), who is excited to support the UK's most ambitious scientists and engineers tackling global challenges.
You'll be a key part of our
Platform team
, focusing on
internal ecosystem support
: building relationships, facilitating community activity, and ensuring partners are well connected to our members. You will work closely with our Head of Platform, who will lead on strategic and outbound partnership growth.

The role
As
Partnerships & Community Manager
, you will provide:
Community Management
* Engage with our community of Deep Tech startups regularly to understand their needs
* Organise and deliver internal, external and partner-led events (e.g. workshops, socials, roundtables), working closely with our front of house team
* Facilitate member groups and informal meetups to strengthen founder networks
* Gather structured feedback from members and report trends internally
Partnership support
* Manage day-to-day relationships with existing partners, including inbox comms and meeting scheduling
* Ensure partners are well-integrated into the community by making relevant introductions and encouraging active involvement
* Monitor partner engagement and satisfaction, gathering feedback for programme improvement
* Maintain partner listings, materials, and reporting in CRM and other tools
Programme support
* Assist the Innovation Manager in delivering accelerator, training and support programmes
* Track attendance, engagement and outcomes from partner-related events and activities
* Provide logistics and administrative support for partner-facing initiatives
What we're looking for:
Essential:
* Background in science – ideally PhD or MSc level
* Experience in community, partnership or programme management
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — happy to work in a forward-facing role
* Highly organised, reliable and proactive – you make things happen
* Confident working with multiple stakeholders and managing a varied workload
* Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools (or quick to learn)
* A strong interest in startups, innovation and scientific impact
Desirable:
* Familiarity with early-stage startups or science commercialisation
* Experience using tools like Airtable, Notion, Typeform, Calendly, and Stacker
* Exposure to the Deep Tech, biotech or advanced engineering sectors
- Knowledge or experience in bioinformatics or related discipline
