Our client, a leading charity who are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee and support multiple stores .
We're recruiting an experienced Area Manager on a contract basis for an immediate start, overseeing a portfolio of stores across South East London and Kent.
You'll be responsible for the smooth running of your area, delivering a clear strategy that ensures stores operate profitably, standards remain high, teams are supported, and the charity's profile and donations continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the key link between stores and Head Office, ensuring clear two-way communication
Deliver sales targets and KPIs across the area
Lead, motivate and manage a varied retail team across multiple sites
Ensure full compliance across all stores
Develop and support the retail management team through guidance and regular branch visits
Drive local marketing activity to raise the charity's profile
Increase donations across the area
Support recruitment and engagement of volunteers
Ensure strong operational standards, performance, training and team development
Key Skills & Experience
Proven Area Manager or multi-site experience
Strong communication, interpersonal and people management skills
Confident decision-maker with excellent problem-solving ability
Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills
Analytical approach with the ability to interpret data and drive performance
Self-starter with high drive, able to perform under pressure with a positive mindset
