Controls Engineer
Salary: £45,700 - £55,240 per annum
Location: South Kensington and White City Campus - Hybrid
About the role
Imperial College London is seeking to recruit a Controls Engineer within its Estates Engineering, Energy and Environment team.
What you would be doing
Reporting to the Senior Controls Engineer, this role will oversee designs, installation works, amendments, and improvements to the Building Energy Management System (BEMS) across Imperial's estate and buildings portfolio. The role supports the Property Team in developing and managing the BEMS in new and existing buildings, ensuring infrastructure services perform effectively and support Imperial's Sustainability Strategy.
What we are looking for
* Extensive knowledge/experience with building controls in environments related to BMS (e.g., Trend, Honeywell, Siemens)
* Technical background with qualifications and training in engineering
* Ability to operate and manage specialist IT systems related to BMS, analyze complex data, identify issues, and develop innovative solutions
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues, external partners, and building users
