About the Role: Supply Planner
We’re looking for a Supply Planner to join our growing operations team and help build the backbone of our grocery supply chain. You’ll be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory, and ensuring product availability across fresh, chilled, frozen, and ambient categories. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career who’s ready to step up, take ownership, and grow with an early stage startup.
Key Responsibilities
* Own demand planning and inventory management across multiple categories
* Analyse sales data and trends to inform accurate, agile replenishment plans
* Ensure strong product availability in stores while minimising stockouts and excess inventory
* Monitor and manage supplier deliveries, including chasing and troubleshooting late or short shipments
* Track shelf life and waste across fresh and short-dated categories, proposing changes where needed
* Support store openings and new range launches with accurate supply forecasts and delivery coordination
* Work closely with Supply Chain, Buying, and Store Operations to align on availability, promotions, and planning cycles
* Contribute to planning tools and reporting to drive efficiency and decision-making
Ideal Candidate
* 3–5 years’ experience in supply planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management, ideally within retail or FMCG
* Comfortable working with fresh and short shelf-life products
* Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented
* Confident using Excel and/or planning platforms
* Clear communicator—able to liaise with suppliers, stores, and cross-functional teams
* Thrive in fast-moving, startup environments and want to be part of building something new
