Overview

SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR - KITCHEN REFURBISHMENT – LOCATION Newbury (Thatcham) – PART TIME – SALARY £12.50 per hour + BONUS & BENEFITS

Sales and Customer Service Administrator required for the UK's leading and award-winning Kitchen makeover company. They specialise in renovating existing kitchens instead of replacing, typically saving customers 50% of the cost of replacement. They also offer the option of supplying and fitting a brand-new kitchen if the existing kitchen cannot be updated. This role is part time (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) at the Newbury Branch.


Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for customers in the showroom and via telephone.
* Gather full customer requirements, aims and expected spend level.
* Arrange and book appointments for home visits to present sales possibilities and take measurements.
* Showcase products and services (e.g., kitchen doors, worktops, handles, appliances).
* Assist customers with choosing colours and styles.
* Handle phone calls from potential and existing customers and suppliers; follow up internet and email enquiries.
* Carry out general admin duties (quotations, placing orders, dealing with suppliers, and other admin tasks).
* Ensure showroom is clean and tidy.
* Work as part of a small team and assist across departments as needed.
* Be based at the Thatcham Branch, on the A4.


The Person

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar customer-facing role (phone and face-to-face).
* Experience in Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, DIY, Home Furnishings is advantageous.
* Friendly disposition with strong customer engagement skills.
* Enthusiasm for and interest in home improvements.
* Ability to work independently and manage showroom duties.
* Confident in converting enquiries into leads or showroom appointments.
* Ability to work weekends, alternate Saturdays, with additional hours as required (no Sundays).
* IT proficiency with email, Word, Excel and Microsoft Suite.
* Excellent customer service and customer-facing skills.
* Willingness to help across all departments.
* Live within a commutable distance to the Thatcham Branch.
