Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
* Supporting the planning and delivery of curriculum content across all science disciplines
* Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
* Managing behaviour effectively to support a calm and focused setting
* Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
* Contributing to student progress through marking, feedback, and informal assessment
* Participating in ongoing training, including safeguarding and subject-specific development
What We're Looking For:
* A degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science)
* A genuine interest in education and working with young people
* Strong communication and classroom presence
* Patience, resilience, and the drive to support learners in achieving their best
* A willingness to develop professionally and potentially move into teacher training pathways such as PGCE, SCITT, or QTS Apprenticeships
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
