Job Title: Quality Control/Advances Checker
Location: Eastbourne
Job Type: Full-Time
Working hours: Rotating shift pattern
Mon- Fri -2PM-10PM
Mon- Fri -6AM-2PM
Sun-Thur -10PM-6AM
About the Position
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a skilled Quality Control/Advances Checker to join our client\'s team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of products, contributing to our client\'s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Check the quality of all finished books.
* Identify potential quality issues wherever possible and make repairs where possible.
* Ensure the information supplied on the Works instruction Ticket is followed.
* Ensure all deadlines are met so that Advance copies reach the customer on time.
* Help to deliver any QA initiatives that may be implemented in the future.
* To perform various duties of a shift production operative, when required.
Qualifications and Skills
* Work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work to high standards under pressure
* Excellent accuracy and an eye for detail
* Ability to successfully prioritise workload
* Ability to organise and schedule own time and activities, monitor progress and stay on top of own workload
