Administration Assistant
Location: Bury Saint Edmunds
Salary: Points 4-6 of the Support Staff Scale £24,404-£25,183 per annum (FTE) £14,546-£15,362 per annum (Pro Rata), including an allowance for holiday pay
The High School is a small, friendly secondary school located in the Suffolk village of Ixworth, it is around 10 minutes from the A14, 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds, and 30 minutes from Ipswich. They have been oversubscribed in recent years and are a popular school.
The Role
They are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of their school as an Administration Assistant. The Administration Assistant will be responsible for supporting the office manager. The successful candidate will provide a high standard of secretarial, IT and administrative services for the school's teachers and pupils and work flexibly to ensure that duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.
They believe that success in any subject is down to a strong curriculum and consistent high quality delivery in the classroom through a thorough knowledge of learning theory. They have a wide ranging enrichment offer and deliver the full national curriculum in KS3 and a wide range of GCSEs in KS4. They are looking for someone with a passion for PE and a clear understanding of how students learn best.
