Job Title: Electrical Testing & Inspection (T&I) Electrician Location: East Kilbride / Morpeth Salary: £38,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working on behalf of: A major national Facilities Management company Are you a qualified and experienced Electrician with a strong background in Electrical Inspection & Testing? A leading FM service provider is seeking a skilled T&I Electrician to join their team, delivering high-quality electrical services at a large-scale manufacturing and production facility. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including emergency lighting, EICR, PAT, and more. * Support the site T&I Supervisor with daily operations and electrical contract development. * Supervise sub-contractors, ensuring safe and professional work in line with company and site-specific procedures. * Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with statutory and company regulations. * Respond to electrical breakdowns and participate in call-out rota as required. * Contribute to a positive safety culture and continuous service improvement initiatives. Essential Qualifications & Experience: * ECS Gold Card Installation Electrician * City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Testing & Inspection * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training * Demonstrable experience in a commercial or industrial FM environment Desirable Skills: * Familiarity with CMMS systems (especially SAM FM) * IOSH Managing Safely or Safety Passport * Working knowledge of Water Hygiene, COSHH, and Safe Systems of Work The Ideal Candidate: * Safety-conscious with excellent communication and organisational skills * Able to work independently and as part of a wider team * Client-focused with a proactive, flexible attitude * Physically fit and able to manage the demands of a large industrial site This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable FM provider working on a well-established site, offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and professional development
