About Hyatt Regency And Hyatt House Manchester
Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House Manchester is two world class hotels in one building with 328 rooms. Hyatt Regency is an inviting upscale hotel featuring beautiful rooms and suites, an exclusive Regency Club Lounge as well as a high-spec gym plus conferencing, meeting and business facilities. Whereas Hyatt House Manchester offers modern suites, fully equipped kitchens and complimentary laundry facilities making it a luxurious, yet true, home-from-home experience.
The role
As a Steward, you will be an integral part of the Stewarding team, working closely with the Culinary Operations team to ensure that all kitchen and Food & Beverage areas are maintained to the highest standards of health and safety.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing pot wash, dish wash, and general cleaning duties
Assisting with goods inwards, including receiving and storing deliveries
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen and back-of-house areas
This is a flexible role, with shifts available on both weekdays and weekends. Working hours will vary and may include early morning breakfast shifts or late evening shifts. Due to the nature of the business, particularly during peak periods, additional hours may also be available.
About you:
You take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and understand the importance of your role in supporting a smooth and safe kitchen operation. You are reliable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential. You are comfortable working flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and are always willing to go the extra mile during busy periods.
Ideally, you will have:
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A basic understanding of health and safety and food hygiene standards (training will be provided)
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
