Scope
The Contract Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in leading the architecture and design of Chubb’s core insurance system transformation. This role will focus on aligning technology strategy with business objectives, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant solutions across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
1. Hands-on accountability for the Architecture definition and ensuring alignment with Chubb’s overall technology strategy.
2. Collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify gaps, design solutions, and drive transformation initiatives.
3. Develop and maintain the technical target state and multi-year roadmap for core insurance domains.
4. Bridge engineering and architecture teams to drive consistency, standards, and best practices.
5. Bring to bear industry trends and emerging technologies to inform architecture decisions.
6. Ensure architectural compliance with risk, cyber security, and regulatory standards.
7. Be a trusted advisor for architectural direction and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
8. Take accountability for inputs to architecture reviews to ensure solutions meet program objectives
Qualifications
9. 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or lead solutions architecture in insurance sector
10. Deep technical fluency with contemporary (. cloud, integration, orchestration, AI) and insurance technologies (. PAS, CMS, Pricing)
11. Solid fluency in data domain. MDM, warehousing, analytics, ML, pipelines
12. Track record of technology leadership on core system transformations.
13. Deep understanding of insurance business processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
14. Proven ability to synthesize complex information and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
15. Experience in large-scale architecture modernization, automation, and engineering excellence.
16. Strong background in agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
17. Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
