We’re looking for an experienced Residence Manager to take ownership of a vibrant student living community and lead it to success. As a Residence Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of a Premium Student Accommodation development. From leading a high-performing team to ensuring a best-in-class student experience, you’ll oversee every aspect of operations including sales, facilities, finance, and community engagement. This is a dynamic and hands-on leadership role where you’ll have a real impact—creating a safe, welcoming, and thriving environment for students. Key Responsibilities Operations & Property Management Oversee the day-to-day running of the residence, ensuring smooth operations across the full student lifecycle Manage health & safety compliance and lead emergency response procedures Take responsibility for operational budgets and resource planning Build strong relationships with local stakeholders, including universities and community partners Commercial Performance Drive occupancy, revenue, and income targets Monitor KPI performance and take action to improve results Lead sales and marketing initiatives to maximise bookings Manage arrears and ensure effective financial control, including P&L oversight Student Experience Deliver an outstanding resident experience that encourages retention and referrals Lead student engagement activities and respond proactively to feedback Handle complaints professionally and turn challenges into positive outcomes Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and inspire your team to perform at their best Oversee recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture Ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently Essential Experience & Skills Experience managing teams, ideally in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Build to Rent (BTR), hospitality, property, or customer-facing environments Strong understanding of tenancy management and housing legislation Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L Track record in sales and revenue delivery Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills If you’re ready to take the next step in your leadership career and make a real difference in a thriving student community, we’d love to hear from you!
