Job Description:
Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid has supported women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse for over 40 years. Join our team to help us continue our mission to end domestic violence.
As the region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop-in services, community support, and emergency accommodation across six refuges.
Our projects support women in the criminal justice system, healthcare settings, and the community, providing support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. We also offer training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals to raise awareness on gender-based violence issues.
We are looking for women who are passionate about supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse and tackling violence against women and girls to join our dedicated team.
This role involves developing and delivering mental health support within a refuge setting and establishing links with mental health agencies.
