Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: Hybrid, 2/3 days onsite per week - Hertfordshire (commutable from certain parts of London)

About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you’ll own and execute social media strategies that showcase products, amplify campaigns, and cultivate thriving communities across a portfolio of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands. Sitting at the heart of brand engagement, you’ll act as the voice of the audience, blending creativity with data-driven insights to grow reach, sentiment, and loyalty with passionate fanbases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and delivering organic social media strategies aligned with brand values and commercial objectives.
* Building monthly content plans across campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments.
* Managing day-to-day posting, platform optimisation, and audience interaction across Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and Reddit.
* Acting as the community voice, engaging in comments, DMs, and reactive content opportunities with wit and authenticity.
* Showcasing user-generated content and championing fan creativity.
* Monitoring, reporting, and analysing KPIs to refine content and strategy.
* Leading a cross-functional team, ensuring effective collaboration across marketing and creative.
Ideal Experience:
* 5+ years’ experience in social media management, ideally within consumer brands, gaming, or pop culture.
* Strong knowledge of platform-specific best practices and emerging organic content trends.
* Excellent copywriting and content creation skills with a knack for adapting tone and messaging.
* Data-driven mindset with confidence in reporting and optimisation.
* Passion for visual storytelling and digital culture.
* Experience managing teams and projects within creative or marketing functions.
* A genuine enthusiasm for fandoms, collectables, and internet communities.
Bonus Points:
* Experience with platforms like Discord and Reddit.
* Skills in graphic design or video editing.
* Background working across multiple brands or in a brand-house environment.
