Quality Controller - Medical Technology
Newton Colmore is working with a medical technology company in north Birmingham, and we are assisting them with their search for a key quality control hire.
The role of an experienced quality controller offers the opportunity to work on market-leading medical devices. You will collaborate closely with the production team to ensure that parts delivered from suppliers meet design specifications and quality standards. The quality controller will assist in supplier quality assessments, including creating and following up on SCARs, and will ensure that the Device History Record (DHR) is maintained accurately for manufactured products. This is a vital role within the team, reporting directly to the head of the team and working alongside five production team members.
Key responsibilities include incoming inspection of parts, handling customer returns, and ensuring adherence to document control, CAPA, and the complaints process.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical technology, along with strong skills in document control and inspection testing.
