Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/laundry Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene within both public and private areas in our home - including our residents' personal spaces. This role is essential in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and service for our residents, making a great contribution to the excellence of care we strive to deliver.
Responsibilities
* Operate any equipment and use chemicals safely and efficiently.
* Support the HK team to maintain cleanliness and the highest standards of hygiene in your assigned areas, all ensuring all equipment is kept in good working order, as appropriate.
* Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the HK team leader and management.
* Handle guest or client requests with professionalism and courtesy.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Assist in the training of new staff members as needed.
Skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and residents. You will have significant contact with our residents, and will potentially become a key part of their lives...
* Physical stamina/fit enough to perform repetitive tasks and to deliver the requirements of the job.
* Previous experience in a similar role is welcome but absolutely not essential, as training will be provided.
* Reliability, commitment, dedication.
