We're currently recruiting for an experienced Optical Assistant / Dispensing Assistant to join a well-established independent optical practice with a long-standing reputation for outstanding patient care and premium eyewear.

" Assisting patients with frame styling and lens recommendations " Taking accurate measurements and supporting the dispensing process " Providing a warm, professional, and personalised patient experience " Supporting with spectacle adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs " Managing spectacle orders and liaising with suppliers where required " Maintaining accurate patient records and handling administration duties " Supporting the wider practice team with day-to-day operations " Ensuring the practice always looks professional and welcoming
What We're Looking For
" Previous optical dispensing experience is essential " Strong communication and customer service skills " Someone organised, proactive, and confident in a busy environment " A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn " Comfortable using IT systems and adapting to evolving ways of working " Level 3 Optical Assistant qualification would be advantageous
