Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Lancashire Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role A global FM company is looking for a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Lancashire. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the chance to work within a respected facilities management business that delivers essential services across a wide range of environments, including offices, factories, hospitals, and more. Key Responsibilities * Provide accurate documentation for all tasks and ensure compliance with CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) system requirements * Complete all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to a high standard, with proper documentation * Conduct Fixed Wire Testing and perform necessary rectification works * Respond to reactive maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring high standards and proper job recording * Keep requesters informed of job progress and completion * Follow all Health & Safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment * Ensure technical compliance across all tasks * Carry out Health & Safety inspections and support risk assessment activities * Assist with general administration and maintain accurate company records * Support both client and on-site colleagues as needed * Highlight and report any maintenance-related concerns or issues * Participate in additional projects or assignments as required Skills, Experience & Qualifications * City & Guilds 2230 Level 3, NVQ 2356 / 2357, or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation * Completion of AM1 and AM2 assessments (or equivalent) * Strong background in electrical installation and general maintenance * Experience and knowledge in electrical testing and inspection * Ability to read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and method statements * Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly If you’re an experienced electrical professional looking to work within a supportive team at a global FM company, we’d love to hear from you
