What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Hours of Work: 40 Hours Per Week – Shifts between 07:00 - 20:00
* Personal Care: Assisting with hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders.
* Health Monitoring: Observing changes, reporting to the line manager, and coordinating care.
* Companionship & Engagement: Encouraging social interaction and meaningful activities.
* Event & Community Participation: Taking clients to life‑enriching events and outings.
* Household Assistance: Meal prep, light cleaning, and ensuring a safe environment.
* Documentation & Advocacy: Keeping records, updating families, and connecting clients to resources.
Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?
* Education: NVQ Level 2 certification (preferred).
* Experience: Prior caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus.
* Skills: Strong communication, patience, empathy and organisation.
* Duties: Assist with daily activities, health monitoring and companionship.
* Physical & Legal: Ability to assist with lift/move clients in a safe manner (training will be provided), valid driver’s licence (required) and background check.
* Drivers needed – with access to own vehicle.
