Our client, a dynamic and growing international professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a 15 months FTC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with a strong accounting background and a proactive mindset to contribute to a busy and collaborative finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with monthly management accounts, including journal postings, prepayments, and accruals
Supporting with inter-company reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency
Producing monthly cost reports for Directors
Supporting UK and Ireland payroll processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Managing and resolving budget holder queries in a timely manner
Reviewing UK and international supplier and expense payment runs
Assisting in payroll reviews and payment processing for UK and international teams
Providing support on finance projects as needed
Offering cover for other team members where necessary
Skills and Experience:
Strong background in accounting with experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently at all levels
Proactive team player with a flexible and adaptable approach
Strong Excel skills
