This Role: Neighbourhood Manager, known internally as Woking PFI Neighbourhood Manager
Salary Range: £44,612 - £46,960 dependent upon experience
Full Time Permanent Post based on 37.5hrs per week - Fully office based
MTVH is recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Housing Manager for a full-time, permanent, office-based role. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of an enhanced housing management service. This role manages a Neighbourhood Officer who supports the Neighbourhood Manager in delivering and monitoring housing management services and KPIs as directed by the Head of Service. We seek a natural leader with a passion for community and operational excellence.
This position involves working closely with residents, local partners, and internal teams to address community issues, improve housing services, and enhance residents' quality of life. It is a fast-paced, customer-facing management role requiring strong housing and property management expertise.
What you'll need to succeed
* Excellent leadership skills and significant experience & knowledge in housing management & repairs service delivery.
* Good knowledge of the Regulator of Social Housing requirements.
* Strong understanding of housing legislation across all tenures.
* Experience with tenant satisfaction measurement.
* Understanding of PFI contracts.
* Experience working in housing in a tenure-blind setting.
* Experience dealing with customers with complex needs.
* Contract management experience and ability to hold contractors to account.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in writing and numeracy.
* Experience working with internal & external stakeholders.
* Significant experience in budget management.
* Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
* Proficiency in IT systems to deliver innovative services and capture customer interactions.
* Self-starter attitude, open to challenges.
* Experience managing & reporting on projects against targets.
* Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
What you will be doing:
* Acting as the primary contact for residents within the neighbourhood.
* Managing and monitoring housing services, including tenancy management, estate inspections, and anti-social behaviour cases.
* Building strong relationships with residents, community groups, and local stakeholders.
* Coordinating with internal departments for seamless service delivery.
* Leading neighbourhood improvement initiatives and community development projects.
* Monitoring and reporting on neighbourhood performance indicators.
* Responding to complaints and enquiries professionally and promptly.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and equality policies.
Desirable
* Supervisory/Staff Management experience.
