Our aim is to create a unique marketplace for food with amazing fresh dishes in a relaxed environment and a focus on eclectic beer flavours. We are looking to appoint an Assistant Manager to help create vision, develop the business and deliver a first-class experience for all.
You will support the General Manager in the day-to-day running and management of the entire retail function, driving excellence in food and drink delivery and guest experience to maximise profitability within the venue. Responsibilities will include delivering against key measures of sales, profit, stock, team retention and guest satisfaction, while adhering to all legislative requirements for people, safety and licensing.
Responsibilities
* Support the GM in the overall day-to-day running and management of the retail function.
* Drive excellence in food and drink delivery and guest experience to maximise profitability.
* Deliver against key measures: sales, profit, stock, team retention and guest satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with people, safety and licensing regulations.
* Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality events and private bookings while ensuring smooth operation of the business.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Operations – experienced Assistant with experience in a volume business.
* Events experience – interest in managing big events and private bookings while ensuring the rest of the business operates smoothly.
* Sales & Marketing – ability to network locally to create in-demand experiences.
* Entrepreneurial flair – understanding of the market, competitors and customers to drive sales opportunities.
* Passion for beer – knowledge and enthusiasm to keep beer at the top of the agenda with the team.
* Resilience – capable of operating a business central to our Head Office.
* Management – comfortable leading a team and acting as a role model.
* Career progression – keen to develop toward a General Manager role.
