We’re looking for a hands-on Business Unit Manager to take charge of a key production stream working for a global leader in engineering and manufacturing. As Business Unit Manager, you’ll be responsible for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team performance — making sure engineering components are delivered on time and to the highest standards. This role is about more than managing and overseeing production. You’ll: Lead and inspire a large team – leading by example Coach and develop your team Drive improvement by using Lean tools and techniques to reduce lead times, boost productivity, and eliminate waste. Deliver results by hitting sales plans, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction. Keep people safe and build a positive, can-do culture. Make decisions on budgets, staffing, and operations that directly impact annual turnover. Have full ownership of the business unit P&L, including cost analysis, margin growth, lead-time reduction, manufacturing productivity, and inventory management. We are looking for a Business Unit Manager who: Has a strong manufacturing or engineering background Understands modern production methods and Lean tools.
