Morgan Hunt are working with one most renowned Further Education Colleges in London who are recruiting for a Work Experience Coordinator in North London. This is a full time temporary role until the end of the academic year with the possibility to apply for the permanent post. The role is paying between £15-£20 per hour depending on skills and experience. The main purpose of this role will be to engage with employers to source suitable work experience and T-Level industry placement opportunities for students.
The Work Experience Coordinator will be responsible for:
1. Mapping out employers to engage with to source work experience and T-Level industry placement opportunities
2. Achieving targets learners numbers placed into work experience and T-Level placements
3. Ensuring students are correctly matched to work experience and T-Level industry placements based on their skills, experience and career interests
4. Ensuring all paperwork is completed including health and safety and compliance for placements to ensure safeguarding for students
5. Providing advice and guidance to learners and employers to achieve a successful and meaningful placement
6. Working with the curriculum staff to integrate the placements ensuring alignment with programme objectives
The Work Experience Coordinator will need to have:
7. Experience of successfully engaging with employers ideally within a further education or welfare to work setting
8. Demonstrated experience of supporting people into employment
9. Successful track record of working within a target driven environment
10. Knowledge of labour market demands and trends
11. A minimum of grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
