Integration Specialist (Boomi / SAP)
£340/day (Inside IR35)
6-month contract
Hybrid – Crawley
We’re looking for an Integration Specialist to join a major enterprise transformation programme, supporting the migration from legacy systems into a modern SAP S/4HANA environment.
This role sits at the centre of integration, DevOps, and technical delivery, working across complex systems and multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and application performance.
The Role
You will:
* Design, map, and maintain EDI and API integrations across Boomi, SAP, and legacy platforms
* Work closely with project teams on integration architecture within an SAP migration programme
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration solutions
* Conduct root cause analysis across critical logistics and finance systems
* Support testing phases (SIT, UAT, QA) to ensure successful delivery
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communication
* Support knowledge transfer and documentation across teams
Support & Operations
* Provide L1–L3 technical support across integration and application layers
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
* Ensure application stability and uptime in line with SLAs
* Contribute to ongoing improvements across systems and processes
What You’ll Bring
* 5+ years’ experience in integration (Boomi + SAP environments)
* Strong experience working across EDI, APIs, and middleware platforms
* Proven background in application support and project delivery
* Ability to operate across both technical delivery and business-facing requirements
* Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical approach
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex environments
Desirable
* Experience with Baan IV / Unix environments
* Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration programmes
* Experience across logistics or finance systems
