We are currently recruiting for an experienced engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Cheltenham. This is a hands-on, varied position, ideal for someone with both electrical and mechanical experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment
Fault find and repair machinery including PLC and CNC-controlled systems
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and support continuous improvement activities
Improve reliability and performance of machinery
Support maintenance planning and ensure minimal downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Ensure high standards of health & safety are followed at all times
The Person:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
Multi-skilled with either electrical or mechanical bias
Experience with PLCs, CNC machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics (essential due to equipment on site)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
