Job Description Summary: As an Engineering Team Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers, driving innovation and excellence in our projects. The role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality software and platforms that make a real impact on our customers, businesses, and communities. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and the pursuit of excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of the product roadmap.
* Take hands‑on ownership for unblocking technical challenges and proving out new patterns and technical solutions ready for full use within the team.
* Act as a player‑coach, building others by developing and mentoring engineers on how to achieve the team and personal goals.
* Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance.
* Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.

What You’ll Need:

* Experience in technical leadership: proven ability to lead, coach and manage engineering teams, including offshore.
* Strong technical background in full‑stack JavaScript/TypeScript development (ideally Node and React).
* Ability to build strong relationships and demonstrate a passion for solving real‑world problems with technology.
* Experience designing technology solutions that are reliable, scalable and performant.

Any experience of this would be useful:

* Knowledge of cloud platforms (ideally Azure) and source control platforms (e.g., GitHub Enterprise).
* Familiarity with DevOps tooling, including continuous integration pipelines and containerisation.

We’re committed to making our recruitment process inclusive and accessible. If you need any adjustments, just let us know – we’re here to support you.
