This role is fully remote and ideal for a confident, autonomous practitioner. Key Responsibilities Conduct telephone/video pre‑operative assessments Review medical history, medications, and risk factors Identify red flags and escalate to anaesthetists/clinical leads Provide clear pre‑op instructions and patient guidance Document assessments accurately on digital platforms Requirements Registered Nurse (NMC) or HCPC Practitioner Minimum 2 years pre‑assessment, theatre, surgical, or acute experience Confident clinical decision‑making skills Strong communication and IT skills Enhanced PVG and up‑to‑date mandatory training Experience within ENT or Ophthalmology departments ✨ Ideal Candidate Independent, organised, patient‑focused, and confident assessing surgical fitness remotely.
