Role Overview
The Pharmacist will dispense medications, provide patient counselling, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care. The branch is located within a GP surgery, dispensing around 6,500 items per month, and supported by a strong team including a Non-Pharm Manager and three healthcare partners. Automated robotic distribution technology is utilised to free up time for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
* Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
* Provide medication counselling and support to patients
* Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals
* Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe medication management wahr
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Pharmacist in the UK
* Must hold valid GPhC registration
* Patient-focused with strong communication skills
* Able to work collaboratively in a supportive environment
Hours
* Monday to Friday: 09:00–17:30
* 1 in 2 Saturdays: 09:00–13:00
* Some flexibility available
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 32 days with length of service)
* Performance-related bonus up to £5,000 per year
