SEN Learning Support Staff – Secondary SEN School (Fazakerley, Liverpool) Teaching Personnel – Part-Time & Full-Time Roles Available Start Date: Monday 13th April Working Hours: 8:30am – 15:45pm Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated, compassionate and proactive SEN Learning Support Staff to join a supportive secondary SEN school in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool. This welcoming school provides tailored education for young people with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD and PMLD. Key Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with diverse special educational needs Assisting pupils in accessing the curriculum and promoting independence Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning Implementing personalised education and behaviour plans Helping with mobility, personal care, and sensory needs where required Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all pupils Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other support staff Encouraging positive behaviour and modelling appropriate communication and social skills About You: Experience in education, care, youth work or supporting individuals with SEND is preferred but not essential A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn Ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils and staff A desire to make a positive impact on young people’s lives Teaching Personnel will provide full training, ongoing CPD, and a dedicated consultant supporting you throughout your placement.
