The Role:
As Foreman, you will:
Lead and supervise a team of operatives on various general civils and infrastructure projects. These projects may include but are not limited to: earthworks, drainage, roadworks, groundwork's, and utilities.
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Monitor progress against the project schedule and budget.
Manage materials and resources effectively.
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Liaise with the Site Manager, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Resolve on-site issues and problems effectively.
Ensure that all work complies with the project specifications and drawings.
Promote a positive and productive working environment within your team.What We're Looking For:
A proven track record as a Foreman or similar role within the civil engineering industry.
Extensive experience in general civils and infrastructure projects, encompassing a range of activities such as earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and utilities.
Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
