We are currently looking for a Shallow Drainage Ganger to start work immediately for an important Civils client of ours. The work is in the Black Country (Dudley / Wednesbury area) Candidates applying must have experience in general groundworks, shallow drainage and laying plastic and clay sewage and plastic drainage pipes 1.5 metre deep. and have experience with managing a groundworks gang. The work involved will be assisting and managing a gang of shallow drainage groundworkers and pipelayers. The work will involve pipelaying and shallow drainage (between 1-2 metres deep), work will be on plastic pipes & concrete rigs for manholes. Candidates will be working in trench boxes and manholes. Experience in all other aspects of groundwork will be advantageous i.e. Hand digging, earth works, ducting, concreting etc. Candidates applying must have a CSCS Skilled Card, SSSTS (or equivalent) and previous experience in this line of work.
