Job Overview
We are looking to appoint an exceptional and driven professional to join a highly successful, enthusiastic and talented team at Debden Park High School, a heavily oversubscribed Academy with outstanding outcomes for its students. The role requires teaching English, potentially across three key stages, and is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT). We are part of the Kemnal Academies Trust and are recognised as a National Teaching School, leading a family of schools and a bespoke CPD programme, the Debden Minds.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess the English curriculum across three key stages.
* Support pupils to achieve excellent progress, achievement and attainment.
* Use a range of teaching and assessment strategies, keeping the curriculum authentic and engaging.
* Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative, innovative environment to move learning forward.
* Contribute to the development of the robust assessment and feedback system.
* Take part in two hours of weekly Debden Minds CPD and other professional development activities.
* Support school leadership in delivering the school’s vision, values and positive relationships.
Qualifications
* Qualified teacher of English, holding the appropriate teaching qualification.
* Experience or potential to work across three key stages.
* Demonstrated ability to inspire a love of English and to support student progress.
* Strong interest in curriculum design, assessment and innovative teaching.
