About the Role
As Head of Strategy, you will lead the development and delivery of our corporate strategy. You will also lead the development and delivery of our approach to Responsible Business.
This is a key leadership role, working closely with the CEO, Board, and Executive Team to generate strategic insight that is used to shape the direction of the Group, including our Newcastle Strategic Solutions Limited (NSSL) and Newcastle Financial Advice Limited (NFAL) subsidiaries, and enable the amplification of our the sustainable value our purpose-led strategy generates for our members, clients, colleagues, and the communities we serve across the North East, North West and beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and drive the Society's Responsible Business strategy alongside building and inspiring a high-performing strategy team.
About You
You will have a proven track record of delivery in a senior strategic role within financial services or consultancy, ideally with experience of working in a purpose-led mutual/company or customer-focused organisation.
With a strong understanding of the mortgage and savings retail and wholesale markets, ESG strategy, frameworks and reporting obligations in the UK context
.
You will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
.
With demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including Board members and senior executives.
